Dachser transports locomotives from the port of Houston to Lima, Peru

The locomotives, each weighing more than 180 tons, were loaded at the port of Houston in the US and transported by sea to Lima, Peru.
To carry out this type of heavy special transport, it has been important to select an appropriate ship that would allow the large cranes to load the locomotives on the ship. In addition to the choice of local heavy load carriers for the land transport of merchandise through the streets of Callao and the supervision, at all times, of the loading and unloading of the ship, until the placement of the locomotives on the railroad tracks themselves in Lima.
