Dachser expands its air cargo service between Singapore and Frankfurt

Dachser has just expanded its offer on the route between Singapore and Frankfurt to include a daily air cargo service. In this way, customers will benefit from guaranteed capacity with a transit time of 72 hours, as well as access to the company's European transport network from the German city. Singapore airport is one of the largest in Asia and a major gateway to Europe. Shipments arriving in Europe via the Frankfurt Gateway connect there to Dachser's comprehensive European network and are quickly distributed to the European destinations where the logistics provider is present.

Dachser offers sustainable fuel to reduce emissions

With the goal of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, air cargo customers can choose the "Sustainable Fuel" booking option, a service the provider has available on all routes around the world at an additional charge. By using "Sustainable Aviation Fuel" or "SAF", air cargo shipments are made with a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. To demonstrate that the fuel has been purchased and that the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions can be counted against the carbon footprint, each customer receives, upon request, an emissions report, and, the following year, a certificate in the which indicates the reduction of emissions, the liters of SAF used, the year of consumption and the exact base of raw material of SAF.
