Bodegas Emilio Moro introduced the new image of its Malleolus family in an extraordinary event at the Palacio de Liria

The 3-Michelin-star chef, Jesús Sánchez, was in charge of designing the gastronomic proposals to pair with the Malleolus family's tasting. The appointment was conducted by the TVE journalist, Elena Sánchez, and personalities such as the journalist and presenter, José Ribagorda, the chef and judge of Masterchef, Pepe Rodríguez or the president of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, have attended among the guests. The Palacio de Liria has been the spectacular setting chosen by Bodegas Emilio Moro to present the new image and the new vintages of the Malleolus family. An idyllic place to celebrate this event, led by the journalist and TVE presenter, Elena Sánchez, in which almost 200 people from the world of wine, gastronomy, hospitality, among other fields, have gathered.

Personalities such as the journalist and presenter, José Ribagorda, the chef and judge of Masterchef, Pepe Rodríguez or the president of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, Enrique Pascual; they have enjoyed a special evening in which they have not lacked collaborators from the winery, distributors and customers, who are a fundamental part of the success of the winery, as they defend from the company.

The launch of the new image and the new vintages of the Malleolus family began with a welcome from Elena Sánchez and the president of the winery, Javier Moro. It also featured the intervention of the 3-Michelin-starred chef, Jesús Sánchez, from the Cenador de Amós restaurant. All this in the impressive gardens of the palace, where no detail was lacking.

“Wine and gastronomy are the best marriage”, commented Javier Moro, thanking the attendees for their presence.

Bodegas Emilio Moro unveiled the new image of Malleolus, Malleolus de Valderramiro and Malleolus de Sanchomartín through a video mapping projected on the façade of the Palacio de Liria, which has reopened its doors for the first time after the pandemic, leaving its guests speechless.

Subsequently, the guests moved to an elegant tent with a glass roof, where the tasting of the three references took place, led by the winery's technical director and oenologist, Álvaro Maestro, who explained the peculiarities of the new vintages of each of the wines of the Malleolus family while the attendees listened to him attentively.

And since there is no better combination than a glass of wine and a delicacy, chef Jesús Sánchez took over to present the gastronomic proposals designed to pair with each of the Malleolus.

The guests had the opportunity to tour the Liria Palace, official residence of the House of Alba, through private visits. A unique opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful buildings in the capital, characteristic for housing an impressive art collection.

Throughout the evening, a jazz group accompanied each moment, adding more magic to a night whose guests, without a doubt, will not forget.

To conclude, Javier Moro, Elena Sánchez and Álvaro Maestro asked for a toast to the Malleolus Family and the president dedicated some affectionate words to Maestro, who, as Javier Moro said, "was born in the winery" and highlighted his deep knowledge and his work in the warehouse.
