Grupo La Mafia se sienta a La Mesa (LMssLM) plans to close 2022 with a turnover of €65M, 38.3% more than in 2021. At the end of the year it will have 72 operating units and is on track for 100 by the end of 2023.

Grupo La Mafia is in a moment of full expansion, with the achievement of the objectives of firms for the entire year 2022 already in the first half of 2022. The group is scheduled to open 20 stores between this last quarter of the year and the first trimester of 2023, which includes the landing in Andorra next January. The opening of these 20 units will mean the hiring of 500 more people, which will be added to the 800 that the group already has.

The chain has just inaugurated its second flagship in Madrid and will close 2022 with 72 operating units in Spain. In the first half of the year, the group has invoiced €30M and plans an annual closing turnover of €65M, which would mean 38.3% more than in 2021 (€47M).

The new premises will open in different geographical areas of Spain with the aim of continuing to grow and expand the presence in the country: Community of Madrid (2), Castilla y León (1), Castilla-La Mancha (2), Andalusia (7) , Basque Country (1), Valencian Community (4), Catalonia (1), Galicia (1), Aragon (1) and, lastly, it will make a new leap abroad with its first premises in Andorra, hand in hand with a local investor.

According to Javier Floristán, CEO of Grupo La Mafia "only in the Spanish market, we have room to reach 250 business units with the three brands, so we want to be very focused on this growth and its consolidation." And regarding the great growth experienced this year, he points out that “the company is at its best, both for profitability and for the high turnover of its premises. This is reflected in the large number of multi-franchisees who are committed to setting up new units and the high interest from new investors”.

In addition, the brand signed a master contract in Portugal for the opening of 15 La Mafia sits at the table premises in the next 5 years. This summer saw the opening of the first two units in Lisbon, specifically in Parque das Nações and in the downtown area of ​​Avenidas Novas, both of which were very well received in the Portuguese capital.

Likewise, regarding Ditaly, the group's youngest brand, Floristán adds

"For Ditaly, our objective is to consolidate the concept in Spain, and make it grow both in Portugal and in Andorra".

The company's strategy for 2023 is to grow in the Levante area and the north of Spain and end the year meeting the milestone set since its inception, of reaching 100 units.

To do this, its central workshop, from which all the product is distributed to all units, both national and international, has already been dimensioned to keep up with the growth expected by the group. Currently it already has 4,500m2 and more than 50 employees who work to maintain the quality that characterizes the group's product and safeguard the value chain.
