The Italian-Mediterranean food chain continues its expansion in the Spanish market with three new openings this February, one in Levante and two more in Andalusia. Specifically, the Group plans to open on February 3 in Alicante, and a second on February 16 in Jerez.
For Grupo La Mafia it is the fourth restaurant in the province of Alicante and the sixth (you have not counted Orihuela) in the Valencian Community. The new premises will be located at Calle Alfonso X el Sabio nº 7, in the heart of the city, very close to the old town of Santa Cruz, an area with a large influx of visitors. It is a large restaurant. In total there are 415 square meters distributed over two floors, which provides a maximum capacity for 150 diners. This new opening has involved an investment of more than half a million euros and will employ a total of 15 people.
Also this month, Grupo La Mafia will land in Jerez de la Frontera, with the inauguration of its first restaurant in the city and the fifth in the province of Cádiz. In this case, it is a place located at the confluence of Calle Guatemala and Avenida de Andalucía. The premises have 428 square meters distributed indoors and outdoors, with a maximum capacity of 188 people, and will have a team of 17 people.
The decoration and props of the La Mafia sits at the table restaurants invite customers to live an authentic Italian experience, thanks to a very careful setting of the spaces, recreating the Amalfi coast, with a lemon tree and typical Amalfi ceramics and another corner that will transport customers to the small town of Savoca, decorated with the well-known Bar Vitelli from The Godfather. And on the other hand, with the authentic flavor of its dishes, made with the highest quality raw materials, and with exclusive gastronomic proposals, such as the #TopOriginale dishes, recipes that blend aroma, flavor and texture, awakening the rest of the senses.
The high quality of the food is due to the fact that the chain has its own central workshop, from which it distributes all the product to all the national and international units. Currently, the workshop has a surface area of 4,500m2 and more than 50 employees who work to ensure and maintain the quality that characterizes the group's product and safeguard the value chain.
The company's strategy for this 2023 is to continue growing in Andalusia, Madrid, the Levante area and northern Spain, to end the year with 100 operating units with the sum of its three brands: La Mafia sits at the table, Ditaly and The Italian Food Boutique.
