With this collaboration, the restaurant group La Mafia se sita a la Mesa has contributed to feeding 8,445 people.

Elena Corzán, head of CSR, and Sonia Pérez, head of marketing and communication at Grupo La Mafia, delivered today at the La Mafia restaurant sits at the table located in Azca, the financial and business sector of Madrid, to Francisco Greciando Rodríguez , director of FESBAL, the Spanish Federation of Food Banks, a check for 6,967 euros that will be converted into 6,334 kilos of food for those most in need. With these kilos of food, 25,000 rations will be provided, the equivalent of feeding 8,445 people in one day or 1,206 in a week.

After the pandemic, "The Mafia sits at the table" decided to bet on collaborating with Food Banks associated with FESBAL since it is an initiative that shares its business mission: to contribute to feeding people. To this end, the brand incorporated SOLIDARITY PIZZA into its menu, through which funds are raised in all its restaurants for the Food Banks associated with FESBAL. For the consumption of each solidarity pizza made in any restaurant in the chain or through take away or delivery, the company allocates 5% of its amount to this cause.

This year, La Mafia sits at the table together with its franchisees, they have sold a total of 8,245 solidarity pizzas, managing to raise the amount of 6,967 euros in favor of FESBAL (Spanish Federation of Food Banks), so that they can continue with their work to deliver food to the people who need it most. In addition, this initiative is complemented by the donation that was also carried out this year from the central workshop of Grupo La Mafia, which made a donation of €21,031.66 to the Zaragoza Food Bank, the place where said workshop.

Since its founding, La Mafia se sita a la mesa has carried out many solidarity activities that show its social commitment, its business philosophy and its values. The company's Corporate Social Responsibility program also includes an area for children, with the MyHome project, a project that contributes to improving the education and living conditions of children in Nepal, and a monthly donation to Aldeas Infantiles, a NGO specialized in child care based on a family model.

Likewise, the company has also opted for sport, raising funds to donate to the Alberto Contador Foundation for research against stroke and has organized, for 7 editions, the Alberto Contador Campus where the next cycling stars are selected. The CSR program also contemplates the environmental line, with collaboration in initiatives such as the Circular Seas project promoted by Coca-Cola to clean up the Ebro river.
