As part of the TechFocus sessions, on November 15, Joaquim López, Head of Customer Service, Marketing, Communications & PR at DACHSER Iberia, will give a presentation in which he will explain, among other topics, the positioning of the DACHSER Chem Logistics solution in relationship with sustainability.

The Paint & Coatings fair, a meeting point for the paint and coatings industry, returns on November 14 and 15, 2023 to Montjuïc at Fira Barcelona, promising to make this third edition the largest to date. The Dachser company, which had not participated in previous editions, will be present at the event for the first time, with its own stand (no. 108).

Paint & Coatings focuses on paint and surface treatment technologies and offers attendees the opportunity to discover new ideas, find answers to technical challenges and information for use in the work environment. The show's conference program will bring together experts who will address the challenges facing the industry, ensuring that attendees are aware of the latest technical, legal and commercial developments related to the manufacturing and formulation of paint and coating products. In addition, there will be TechFocus sessions, with free access, where the industry's leading vendors will present their latest releases in technical presentations.

Within the framework of TechFocus, Joaquim López, Head of Customer Service, Marketing, Communications & PR at DACHSER Iberia, will give a presentation titled "DACHSER Chem Logistics, the most sustainable solution for the transport and storage of chemical products." In this talk, which will take place on November 15 at 3:30 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the DACHSER Chem Logistics solution, how the company reduces CO₂ emissions or how it optimizes its trucks in a sustainable way.

An exclusive solution for the chemical sector

In response to the demands of its customers and increasing regulations over time, Dachser chose to merge its experience and services in the chemical industry. Thus, in 2007, it introduced the solution known as DACHSER Chem Logistics in Europe. A few years later, in 2015, after the implementation of Dachser's dangerous goods handling regulations in all its branches in Iberia, a local Dachser Chem Logistics team was created. In this way, the logistics provider managed to combine its standardized network services with highly specialized and personalized experience in chemical logistics. This allows it to offer efficient management of the chemical products distribution chain, both in Iberia and throughout Europe and globally.

“Our specialization in logistics for the chemical sector includes everything from the continuous training of all our staff involved in the handling of chemical products and dangerous goods, to labeling, the use of approved packaging, as well as the equipment of our vehicles and trucks. And, of course, a team of logistics experts for the chemical industry,” explains Inmaculada Fernández, Business Development Dachser Chem Logistics in Iberia.
